Signs in the skies and signs of the times.

Prophecy and ancient texts were written for us so we would be prepared, and have or share knowledge of things to come.

There are many indicators, signs and wisdom so that we would not be deceived as Jesus warns many times. Technology and Eschatology are on a very fast paced course. 

Genesis 1:14 KJV ~And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years:

Daniel 4:2 ~I thought it good to shew the signs and wonders that the high God hath wrought toward me.

Daniel 12:4,8-10 ~But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased. 8 And I heard, but I understood not: then said I, O my Lord, what shall be the end of these things? 9 And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end. 10 Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand. (Dan12:3).

Matthew 24:3-7 ~And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?

4 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.

5 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.

6 And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.

7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.

Matthew 24:34 ~Verily I say to you, this generation may not pass away till all these may come to pass.

How can deception occur? To list a few ways: lies mixed with truth, believing lies, perversion of the truth, distortion of justice, changing of words to mean something else, replacement theology, bribery, coercion, trickery of men, false doctrine, false teachings, distortion of reality, being swayed to believe untrue facts, ie: lying with stats (gates book). God gave us a conscience to know right from wrong, some know it as instinct, gut feelings, sensing, knowing, a moral compass, the conscience discerns something is off, pay attention to any disrupters of peace. Peace is the path, it is the way by the path of truth which brings life (John8:32).

Be blessed and walk by faith, Trust in God and stay in truth feeds and be fed truth. Scientists can’t figure out consciousness because it is God’s design and He Himself declares no one can find out the work He does from beginning to end. (Ecc3:11).

I gave up on keeping a TV in my home in 2014. That indeed one of the best decisions I was inspired to remove the time wasting box from my life. Where can we choose truth a little more each day, it all can make a difference.

Psalm 33:8-9 KJV~Let all the earth fear the Lord: let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of him. 9 For he spake, and it was done; he commanded, and it stood fast.

There is so much rich truth in God’s Word, they are alive and the living oracles of God.
